Xchange Checker Currency Converter ("the app"), part of TripChecker.co.uk, does not collect any personal information about you.
Xchange Checker / TripChecker.co.uk is the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR. You can reach us via our Data Manager at hello@tripchecker.co.uk.
The app does not require or support account creation, sign-in, or login of any kind.
Your favourite currencies (up to six) are saved locally on your device using standard Android app storage. The app also saves the last exchange rate table it successfully fetched, so conversions still work when you don't have a signal. Neither of these ever leaves your device or is visible to us or to any third party.

These requests ask only for current exchange rates. They do not include your name, location, device identifiers, or any other information that could identify you.
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Under UK GDPR you have rights over any personal data held about you, including access, correction, deletion, and objection to processing. In practice, we hold nothing to act on: the app doesn't send us your favourite currencies, your cached rates, or anything else that could identify you, so there is no personal data on our side for these rights to apply to. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated to explain how to exercise them.
You can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk at any time if you believe your data has been mishandled, though we'd appreciate the chance to sort it out directly first via hello@tripchecker.co.uk.
